These words of gratitude are from a parent of Spanish Schoolhouse’s newest DFW location – Preston Trail. We opened this school in August and parents are loving their children’s “home away from home” during the school day.
Preston Trail, which is located at the corner of Preston and Campbell in Far North Dallas, is one of three new schools that opened in 2023-2024 and is the 18th Spanish Schoolhouse in the state of Texas! A long annual waitlist at the nearby North Dallas SSH location proved there was a growing demand for more families to experience the benefits of bilingualism. Despite the schools being located less than three miles apart, we’ve had enough new families to fill classrooms and parents are thrilled to have this opportunity for their children!
In the Houston area, we opened two new SSH locations in Friendswood and Pearland (near Pearland Town Center). They’ve been warmly welcomed by local media and by parents as a valuable part of their communities:

A Cultural Learning Experience for Kids – and Parents!
Our new buildings were thoughtfully designed to evoke the feeling of being in a Latin town. Students are welcomed into the schools through a park-like entrance, and step into the plaza where the day’s magic happens! New playgrounds expand on this authentic Spanish Schoolhouse theme with our mascot, Periquito Azul, joining in on the fun and adventure.
No matter which SSH location a child attends (established or brand-new) they’ll find an extremely warm and loving atmosphere that makes learning fun and exciting. When students complete the program at Pre-K or Kinder, they are prepared to enter elementary school and go on to achieve academic success with all the benefits of bilingualism!
25 Years of Changing Children’s Lives
Our new school openings add to the joy of celebrating a quarter of a century in education! That’s 25 years of bringing Spanish immersion and Latin culture to thousands of preschool children in Texas. We’ve come a long way since we started with our first group of students in a living room in 1999, and we’ve made a lifelong impact on countless students’ lives
